Julie McKinney
Abstract artist, Julie Genda McKinney is often known for fanciful paintings with her recognizable palette of colors, has a sensitive hand that she likes to contrast with bold surprises in each of her pieces. She uses a combination of acrylic, charcoal, China markers, Sakura markers, oil pastels, paper and wax to create her work. After attending Florida State University where she received a BA in fine art, she worked for many years as a graphic designer. Her mixed media works have been featured in several group exhibitions in the southeast and numerous private collections throughout the country.
